SIXTH SENSE private investigation agency established in March 2006 by a few well qualified and experienced former officers of the Central Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, has been the first of its kind head quartered in Trivandrum, the capital city of God's Own Country, Kerala. Most of the field Investigators of SIXTH SENSE spread in all districts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu and a few selected centres in other states are former officers with proven track record in Intelligence/Investigative services of Central/State Government departments.
In tune with the technological advancement and to adapt to changing developments in private investigation sector, SIXTH SENSE has been reconstituted with the new name of SIXTH SENSE DETECTIVES AND INVESTIGATION BUREAU in April 2021 as a Partnership Firm with Registration No.1909/2021.It is also registered under the Shops and Establishments Act of Government of Kerala. SIXTH SENSE is the first private investigation agency in Kerala to become member of All India Association of Professional Detectives and Investigators (APDI), New Delhi. We are the only detective agency from Kerala State to become member of World Association of Detectives (WAD) based at California, USA

Shri M John Punnen M.Com
Chief Executive OfficerShri M John Punnen served the Central Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India for 36 years and retired as Joint Deputy Director after gaining five promotions for meritorious services. He received many Cash Rewards and Commendations for outstanding performances while in Government Service at New Delhi, Nagaland, Mumbai, Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram in different capacities on specific assignments. He successfully served the Chennai Zonal Office of Narcotics Control Bureau, Ministry of Finance, Govt. Of India as Zonal Asst. Director covering four southern states and two union territories, on deputation for four years. He has widely travelled within the country and out side the country.He is bestowed with Investigation Professional of the year Award in 2011, Investigation Leadership Awards in the year 2014 and 2017 and the Life time Achievement Award for Professional Investigation in 2019 in the All India conferences of APDI. Presently he is one of the National Vice Presidentsof All India Association of Private Detectives and Investigators(APDI) and the only member of World Association of Detectives(WAD) from Kerala State.
Shri. K. Natarajan B.A (Eco) B.L
Chief Co-ordinatorShri. K. Natarajan B.A B.L., based at Madurai Tamilnadu had served the Intelligence Bureau, Union Home Ministry for more than two decades in various capacities at different places. While in the Intelligence Bureau, he had also served as a faculty in the Training School of Intelligence Bureau New Delhi and imparted training on conventional and non-conventional areas pertaining to intelligence and security. After voluntarily demitting office in 1995 he established a law firm viz. Ram and Raj Law Associates at Madurai, Tamilnadu with branches at Chennai and New Delhi. He is also the Chairman of Asset Foundation Madurai, Managing Director of Allied Constructions & Consultancy, Madurai, Director Alagendran Finance Ltd. and Anusha Medical Services Pvt. Ltd. Being a Free Mason and also member of various social clubs he has wide range of contacts in various fields.
Shri S. Krishnan Nair
Administrative OfficerShri S. Krishnan Nair is a Science graduate and holder of Post Graduate Coaching Diploma in swimming with first Rank from National Institute of Sports, Patiala, Punjab. He worked as Swimming Coach under the Kerala Sports Council and was also Kerala State Swimming Coach for two years prior to joining the Intelligence Bureau in 1971. After serving the Intelligence Bureau for more than two decades he came out on voluntary retirement for an exposure abroad. He worked as Maintenance Supervisor in ARENCO, a reputed Dubai based company for a few years before settling down at Trivandrum. Being a professional with sports background, he has the knack of developing and maintaining contacts and knows the trick of the trade of private investigation.

Legal Status
Under the Constitution of India, detectives and private investigation agencies are entitled to practice the profession but unlike in many other countries there have been no legal authority to oversee and regulate the functioning of detectives in our country. To rectify this lacunae,Private Detectives (Regulation) Bill was introduced in Parliament in the year 2007 .The Bill envisaged to reduce the workload of police personnel on jobs like issuing summons, verification of passports, job screening etc; by using private professional detective agencies. The Bill could not be enacted by the Parliament as the successive Governments did not pursue the matter vigorously . Efforts are on by the All India Association of Professional Detectives and Investigators to get the Bill reintroduced and adopted by the Parliament as early as possible.
